Our History:  

Our founder, Tom Bukaty, started this discount travel agency in July of 1995 when his children introduced him to the internet. Recently retired, and only 48 years old, Tom wanted a low pressure retirement career where he could spend his working hours "talking to nice people about going to nice places". Despite the fact that in 1995 many people told him that the internet wouldn't work to sell travel, he saw how his children were already using it to gather information for school papers and more. He knew he wanted to start a travel business and he saw the "future" being on the internet. We can now see he was right!        

Tom wrote down the things he was looking for when he called a travel agent before getting into the business.

"Good information" so that you can pick the right resort in the right place for what "you" want to do.

"Good Pricing" It gives you a sick feeling when you find out that almost everyone else at a resort paid many dollars less than you did. We discount every trip we sell!

"Get the tickets" Almost anyone can accomplish this. We do it right.

"Help if there is a problem" While a travel agent is not the resort or the airline, the travel agent should try to help his client if something unusual occurs and the client doesn't know where to turn.  We are here 7-days a week only taking off for the major Holidays.

The list became the beginnings of his new job description. Next was to learn how to build a website. Tom was never afraid to offer help or ask for help when needed. He called a "computer guy" friend and asked him how to build a website. His friend said he hadn't built one but he would help if Tom would buy a "web building" program. This friend, Larry Manka, is now the webmaster for the many websites the company runs.

Back in 1995, there were very few travel websites, and the ones that existed had very little information. Tom called the resorts and badgered them with detailed questions about the location, facilities, accommodations, restaurants, activities and more. Over a two year period, 1995-97, much research went into gathering information about hotels, airlines, tour operators, and more. Once the website was launched, the phones started ringing off the hook. Not being able to handle all the calls, and needing help, he called his best friend from childhood, George Evans. who also retired early. Tom talked George into coming from Buffalo down to Florida and selling travel over the internet. Several months later George became a partner and Vice President of the company. 

Since then a number of employees have been hired and a number of new websites have been added. Major Tour Operators, and Resorts have given All-inclusive Resort Travel, Inc. many awards for the highest level of sales from all agencies. Our "Star" performing agents, Helga Koegel, Anna Wilbur, Melanie Daley, Roni Markman, and Lori Light are part of the team Tom and George have built to do all of the client contact. Tom's son Matt, now a "Consultant"  for computer security and a networking specialist, helps Larry with the websites and in-house computer system.

Today, the company flourishes by still giving the personal contact that most web based agencies don't offer.
